Shanti Holistic Resort

This hotel has just been taken over by the same guys that run Gazi and The cove.  At the moment it is more of a single ladies getaway but from 2010 this hotel is going to be another great addition to this group of retreats. It will still offer free Yoga in the morning and evening and the Spa will still be available for use at an extra charge but it will now feature a bar and a more varied menu. This will then be a more appealing retreat for you couples out there.

It has 8 rooms and they are all sea facing, the way the rooms look they are very sort of 70′s feng shui styled, with a sunken bed and candles on the surround. It sits on a beautiful beach and has a small pool in the gardens.  Once this retreats in full working order it is going to be another great couples/honeymoon destination.

 

Shanti is on the South Coast and reached by road and car ferry and the transfer is +/- 2 and a half hours or 20-30 minutes from Ukunda.
